In the field of digital ballasts, the Dimlux is the most silent system, there are little or no vibrant and buzzing sounds and no buzzing and/or rattling relay perceptible when turning on and off.
The Dimlux can be used as a normal (digital) ballast in a normal system with relay and time clock. However, if the Dimlux is used in combination with the Maxi Controller, the maximum performance and all possibilities of the Dimlux are fully appreciated.

7 DIM OPTIONS INCLUDING 2 SPECIAL ‘BOOSTS’

The Dimlux ballast of the 600W and 1000W systems have the greatest dimming range of all electronical ballasts that are available at the moment, so that you can most accurately adjust the amount of light (output) to the requirements of your crops. There are 7 standard dim options available (most ballasts offer 3 or 4), including two special ‘boost’ functions that allow you to safely overlock the lamp. This makes it possible to obtain no less than an extra 15% of grow light from the lamp.

STEPWISE TO CONTINUOUS-VARIABLE DIMMING

Connecting a Dimlux Expert Series light system to a Dimlux Maxi Controller eases the switch from stepwise dimming to continuous-variable dimming, which makes it even easier to effectuate the perfect light setting. You can do this by means of the + and – (brightness) buttons, or you can set the required temperature and leave the rest of it to the Maxi Controller. It won’t get any easier!
