The DimLux expert is a series of complete fixtures including the Alpha Optics reflector.

DimLux Expert Series 1000W DE EL UHF NanoTube. The DimLux Expert Series 1000W DE EL UHF electronic ballast is a full 1000W DE EL UHF fixture. The DimLux Expert Series 1000W DE EL UHF is a complete fixture including the Alpha Optics reflector. This reflector is designed according to the Single Bounce Clear Sight (SBCS) principle and is equipped with Miro Silver mirrors. As a result the highest possible efficiency (98%) of all available horticulture reflectors is achieved.

Provided with adjustable side reflectors for better overlap and to minimize wall losses. Due to the open design of the reflector the lamp is passively cooled which is a benefit for the life and efficiency of the lamp. There is a 50mm socket on the reflector which can be used to significantly reduce the room temperature by actively extracting the air. There are also optional add-on reflectors available which be placed to minimize the wall loss even more. This reflector is replaceable.

By using a Nanotube the air can be extracted in parallel from the fixture, the lamp will always maintain the ideal temperature in order to maximize efficiency and life span. It is possible to achieve 20% lumens boost, this is only possible if the lamp is actively cooled.

Unique Features


Highest reflection on the market. Thanks to the BSCS technique, the light ray is reflected in the reflector only one time. The light ray can’t reflect back into the lamp.


The reflector is independently adjustable into 2 positions on both sides. This can, for example, bring a surplus for lighting nearby walls.


The boost function produces an unmatched amount of light. With the dim function, the amount of light can exactly be adjusted to the light demand of the crop.


There is a 50mm connection to the reflector with which it is possible to extract warm air in order to maintain the room temperature.

Alpha optics 98 reflector

This Alpha Optics 98 reflector was designed according to the Single Bounce Clear Sight (SBCS) principle and is equipped with Miro Silver mirrors. This achieves the highest possible level of efficiency (98%) of any commercially available horticultural reflector. The reflector is fitted with adjustable side reflectors for better overlapping and minimizing wall losses.

Warm air can actively be extracted through a 50 mm connection on the reflector which reduces the room temperature significantly. In addition, separately available add-on reflectors can be installed to further reduce wall losses. To be used with 250-750W lamps. The reflector is replaceable.

Add-on reflectors

Maxi Control


The Maxi Controller is a modular control system for controlling the DimLux lighting system, a fan and the heating. The Maxi Controller controls and monitors the CO2, vapor pressure deficit (VPD) and the plant temperature depending on the sensors chosen.

The Maxi Controller is able to control up to 160 DimLux Expert fixtures or Xtreme ballasts. The Maxi Controller is able to switch the lighting on or off silently by means of a built-in timer. The lighting can also be regulated variably until the desired output is reached.

The Maxi Controller can also work with asynchronous times for example, 10 hours on and 10 hours off. This setting reduces the total cycles by almost 20%. It is also possible to regulate the level of CO2 in a closed room via an extremely accurate dual beam CO2 sensor.

This CO2 sensor is able to control CO2 generators and cold CO2 installations. The Maxi Controller is modular. The controller can be extended to include the AUX BOX, FAN/AUX BOX, CO2 sensor, CO2 Gas Protect sensor, a plant temperature camera, an RH sensor and a temperature sensor.
